MSC approaches snow management as a strategic discipline that requires professional management services and appropriate planning standards. This helps us properly prepare for future snow events.
Before the winter season begins, there is an extensive amount of preparation that must take place to assure future quality control. It’s during these months of site documentation, customer dialogue and careful planning that permits us to establish an appropriate snow response plan that caters to the needs of each individual property.
Snow is a seasonal event that requires annual oversight and planning to assure a high level of service. Here is how we approach that process:
PRE-SEASON
PROPERTY INSPECTION
• Perform a comprehensive pre-season inspection to assess and document the current condition of property.
SNOW RESPONSE PLAN
• Develop a methodical plan that caters to the individual needs of each property identified during the property inspection.
EQUIPMENT/PERSONNEL SELECTION
• Select and assign personnel and equipment to best match the needs of the individual property.
IN-SEASON
WEATHER MONITORING
• Actively monitor weather conditions through state-of-the-art weather forecasting technology to help us communicate upcoming conditions with our clients.
MOBILIZATION
•Our snow management team will determine when to mobilize operations based on weather monitoring.
COMMUNICATION
•In addition to pre-storm notifications, we inform our clients of the status of activity during storms and follow up after events to discuss any challenges that were encountered.
EVENT OPERATIONS
•Inspect and document every property for quality control purposes in an effort to be proactive and thorough.
EVENT WRAP UP
•Review on site documentation and provide an event report containing Certified Storm Totals for clients who have requested this service.
POST-SEASON
PROPERTY INSPECTION
•Perform post-season property inspection to assess and document the current condition as it relates to our pre-season inspection.
CLIENT MEETINGS
•Meet with our clients to review the winter season as a whole and discuss overall customer satisfaction.
SEASONAL WRAP-UP MEETING
•Internally review the winter as a whole with our snow management team, taking into account all client feedback and internal documentation of successes and challenges.
